Mulut Seribu Dan Laut Mati Sebuah Keajaiban Di Rote Timur (Thousand Mouth And Dead Sea A Miracle In East Of Roti Island)

Kepulauan Rote terdiri atas 96 pulau, 6 di antaranya berpenghuni. Wilayah ini beriklim kering yang dipengaruhi angin muson dan musim hujan relatif pendek (3-4 bulan). Bagian utara dan selatan berupa pantai dengan dataran rendah, sementara bagian tengah merupakan lembah dan perbukitan. pulau ini dapat dikelilingi dalam jangka waktu yang relatif singkat (Wikipedia). Disebelah timur Pulau ini terdapat dua tempat yang sangat menakjubkan dan sebuah keajaiban yang ada di Rote Nusa Tenggara Timur yakni Teluk Mulut Seribu dan Laut Mati. Yuk simak perjalanan seorang teman Bapak Fuad Sauqi mengendarai sepeda motor kesayangannya bersama rekan-rekan satu club mengelilingi Nusa Tenggara Timur dan salah satunya menuju Rote Timur.

The Roti Islands consist of 96 islands, 6 of which inhabited. This region has a dry climate which is affected by monsoon winds and the rainy season is relatively short (3-4 months). The north and south are low-lying beaches, while the middle is a valley and hills. this island can be surrounded in a relatively short period (Wikipedia). To the east of this island there are two most amazing places and such a miracle that exist in Roti island, East of Nusa Tenggara, are Thousand mouth bay and the Dead Sea. Let's take a look to my friend's journey, Mr. Fuad Sauqi riding his favorite motorcycle with his club colleagues around East of Nusa Tenggara and one of them is the journey to East of Roti Island.

 

Teluk Mulut Seribu Rote Timur (Thousand Mouth Bay East Of Roti Island)

Mulut Seribu berada di sebelah Timur Pulau Rote dan masyarakat setempat memberikan nama ini untuk sebuah teluk dengan air yang tenang berwana hijau jernih dan dikelililngi pulau-pulau berukuran kecil yang ditumbuhi tanaman bakau. Pulau -pulau kecil ini terbentuk dikarenakan oleh desakan arus laut yang kuat. Untuk mengelilingi Pulau-pulau kecil yang tersebar di teluk Mulut Seribu ini diwajibkan menggunakan perahu setempat dan pemandu wisata yang telah mengenal arah masuk dan keluar area mulut seribu ini. Diibaratkan seperti bermain labirin di taman bunga di Eropa bisa tersesat jika tidak mengetahui rutenya. Dan pada cuaca tertentu saat cuaca tidak mendukung maka tidak diijinkan untuk berpetualang di mulut seribu ini,

Mulut Seribu (Thousand Mouth Bay) located in the east of Rote Island and the local community gives this name to a bay with calm water all together with clear green underwater color and surrounded by small islands overgrown with mangroves. These small islands were formed due to strong ocean currents. To surround the small islands which scattered in the Gulf of thousand Mouth required to use local boats and tour guides who having ability on direction of entering and exiting the thousand mouth area. Similar to playing a maze in a flower garden in Europe than definitely you can get lost if you do not know the route. And in certain weather when the weather does not support it, it is not permitted to take an adventure in the mouth of this thousand island,

Laut Mati Rote Timur (The Dead Sea Of East Roti Island)

 Laut Mati, ya tatkala kita cari dimana saja terdapat laut mati maka jawabannya adalah di dua tempat di muka bumi ini yakni danau laut mati di Timur Tengah yang terletak di perbatasan Israel, Yordania dan Palestina serta di timur Pulau Rote Indonesia. Letak laut mati ini berada di Dusun Sipuk, Desa Sotimori, Kecamatan Rote Timur, Kabupaten Rote Ndao. Namun ada perbedaan pada dua tempat yang berjauhan ini yakni menurut penuturan beberapa warga menyebutkan bahwa laut mati di pulau rote ada ikan yang hidup didalamnya. Perlu dibuktikan kebenarannya. Laut mati memiliki kadar garam yang cukup tinggi sehingga semua benda tidak tenggelam dalam air. Dan seperti namanya maka disekeliling danau tampak sepi dan hening.

The Dead Sea, yes when we are looking for a place anywhere about the existence of a dead sea, then the answer is in two places on this earth, there are the Dead Sea Lake in the Middle East on the borders of Israel, Jordan and Palestine and on the east of Roti Island, Indonesia. Location of the dead sea is in Sipuk, Sotimori Village, East of Roti island, Rote Ndao District. But there are differences in these two far places, according to some residents say that the dead sea on the island of Roti Island has fish that live in it. Need to prove the truth. Dead sea has a high salt content so that all objects are not submerged in water. And as the name implies, around the lake looks quiet and silent.
