Nasi merupakan makanan pokok Indonesia. Jadi sungguh keterlaluan jika ada orang dewasa yang tidak mengetahui bagaimana caranya menanak nasi. Dijaman modern ini banyak teknologi yang telah diciptakan untuk menanak nasi dengan mudah. Namun saya menjumpai sebuah keunikan di Kota Kupang yakni saat acara adat, maka kaum laki-laki saya jumpai yang menanak nasi. Ya saat pesta, menanak nasi bukan untuk satu keluarga kecil tapi menanak nasi untuk banyak orang. Tentunya pekerjaan yang tidak mudah. Berikut adalah galerry sederhana bertajuk "menanak nasi untuk melayani banyak orang".
Rice is Indonesia's staple food. So it's really outrageous if there are adults who don't know how to cook rice. In this modern era, many technologies have been created to cook rice easily. But I found a uniqueness in the city of Kupang, is when the customary event, then men I met who cooked rice. Yes, at parties, cooking rice is not for serving rice for one small family but cooking rice for many people. Of course the work is not easy. Here is a simple gallery titled "cooking rice to serve many people".
Memasak nasi memang perkara mudah tapi aktualnya tidak semua orang sukses menanak makanan pokok yang disebut "nasi" ini.
Langkah-langkahnya terlihat mudah karena hanya perlu beras, air, panci dan api.
Tetapi, bagi seorang yang belum pernah melakukannya maka hasil tanak nasi bisa menjadi tidak sempurna seperti terlalu lembek
atau kering karena kurang air dan durasi pembuatannya tidak diketahui dengan baik. Bisa juga nasi terlihat
kusam atau kotor karena kurang telaten saat memilih dan membersihkan beras.
Cooking rice is indeed an easy matter but actually not everyone is successful in cooking this staple food called "rice". The steps look easy because it's only need rice, water, pan and fire. However, for someone who has never done it, the rice production can become imperfect like too soft or dry due to lack of water and the duration of cooking process is not well known. Rice can also look dull or dirty due to lack of pain when choosing and cleaning rice.
Saat pesta dikupang, maka pihak penyelenggara dituntut untuk mampu menaksir jumlah nasi yang akan disediakan. Hasil taksiran ditentukan dari jumlah undangan yang teredar. Sehingga beras beserta alat yang dibutuhkan menjadi tepat termasuk juga kebutuhan kayu bakar. Ada beberapa keluarga juga telah menggunakan alat masak yang lebih canggih yakni rice cooker tapi yang berukuran besar dan tentunya membutuhkan budget yang lebih untuk membeli alat tersebut yang biasanya ada di restoran-restoran besar.

Namun memasak secara tradisional menggunakan kayu bakar juga menjadi pilihan masyarakat karena memiliki dampak dari sisi lainnya yakni menambah keakraban keluarga dan kerabat saat acara berlangsung. Karena intisari dari acara-acara adat di Nusa Tenggara Timur adalah membangun kebersamaan. Anak-anak muda pun sempat diejek "jika belum bisa menanak nasi maka belum boleh menikah, nah kalau sudah membantu menanak nasi untuk banyak orang maka bulan depan nikah sudah". Guyonan -guyonan terjadi saat menanak nasi yang dilakukan ditempat yang agak teduh.
However, cooking rice traditionally which is using firewood is also the choice of community because it has an other side impact, which increases the intimacy of family and relatives during the event. Memasak nasi dengan tungku dan
panci sudah lama ditinggalkan warga perkotaan. Yang masih menggunakan cara ini
mungkin warga di pedesaan. Namun, memasak menggunakan api tunggu biasanya panas
nasi akan terasa lebih lama dan aromanya pun lebih wangi.Jika menggunakan panci, jenis
panci yang digunakan panci biasa atau panci kukus dimana tahapannya akan
sedikit berbeda karena harus dua kali proses menanak. Untuk memasak nasi yang bagus,
pilih beras berkualitas bagus juga. Sebelum dicuci, ada baiknya menyortir apakah
masih ada batu kecil, gabah atau kotoran lainnya yang terselip di antara bulir
beras. Setelah terlihat beras rendaman
bersih, masukan air bersih hingga satu ruas jari telunjuk dan mulai ditanak
dengan api sedang. Selama menanak nasi, beras harus rajin diaduk agar tidak
berkerak di bagian dasar panci. Proses pengadukan ini dilakukan
mulai dari air masih dingin hingga mendidih dan meresap ke nasi hingga nasi pun
matang. Sedangkan menanak nasi dengan
panci kukus, tambahan tahapan dilakukan setelah nasi ditanak di atas kompor
masih dalam Sebenarnya hanya ada sedikit
perbedaan dari proses menanak nasi menggunakan panci biasa dengan yang
menggunakan panci kukus, namun dalam proses menanak nasi menggunakan panci
kukus perlu ada langkah yang harus ditempuh.Setelah nasi setengah matang,
angkat panci dan ganti dengan panci kukus. Masukan air di bawah saringan yang
terdapat dalam panci kukus. Pindahkan nasi tersebut dalam panci kukus. Lalu, kukus nasi sekitar 15
hingga 30 menit tergantung pada porsi nasi yang ditanak dan nasi pun siap

However, cooking using woodfire is producing well rice and it's hot will last longer and the aroma is even more fragrant. When using a pan, the type of pan used is an ordinary pan or steamed pan where the stages will be slightly different because you have to cook twice. To cook good rice, choose good quality rice too. Before washing, it's good to sort whether there are still small stones, grain or other impurities tucked between the grains of rice. After seeing soaked rice is clean, put clean water until one segment of the index finger and start cooking with medium heat. During cooking rice, rice must be diligently stirred so as not to crust at the bottom of the pan. This stirring process is carried out starting from cold water to boiling and seeping into the rice until the rice is cooked. Orang bilang Orang Kupang suka berpesta. Apakah benar akan hal ini?. Ya
memang betul namun acara -acara pesta di Kupang mampu menghidupkan
bisnis sewa kursi, tenda, dan sebagainya. Lebih tepatnya tidak memakai
istilah suka berpesta tapi sebuah budaya dan acara syukuran yang
melibatkan keluarga besar dan rumpun keluarga dalam masyarakat. Memang
ada keluarga yang mengadakan pesta di jaman sekarang ini memilih tidak
repot dengan menyewa tempat lengkap dengan kebutuhan pesta tersebut,
namun masih banyak memilih melakukannya sendiri di rumah. Tapi diatas sekedar berbagi foto – foto sebuah aktifitas dalam Pesta di kupang namun belum
lengkap semuanya termasuk acara-acara adat yang dilakukan. Repot memang
tapi kita mampu melihat sebuah kebersamaan dan antusiasme yang tinggi
dari semua yang memberikan dukungan, serta tanpa disadari dapat
diketahui beberapa dari warga dan anggota keluarga yang berbakat baik
masak-memasak, sound enginering, kelistrikan, dekorasi. mC dan yang
lainnya.
People says that People of Kupang like partying. Is this truth ?. Yes it is true but party events which is held in Kupang made rental business such chairs, tents, and so on run well. More precisely does not use
terms of like partying but it is a culture for celebration which is
involving a large family member and family grove in the community. Indeed,
there are family who were having a party then held it by renting a
place where complete with the needs of the party which is not bordering
their time, but many family were still choosing to do it by themselves at home.
The following are simply sharing of photo story on Wedding ceremony but
it is not complete one including its traditional events that also
conducted. Trouble indeed but we could see togetherness and enthusiasm
of all supporting team, and without realizing it then we could see some
of people and family members who are gifted in good cooking, sound
engineering, electrical, decorating. MC and others.
